I don't see why you should. I mean, he IS considered a legendary actor, but the only reason he ever stuck in my head was because I was a HUGE fan of The Black Stallion movie from 1977--if not for that he probably would never have been a blip on my radar. I had to join it as a volunteer in my medieval group; the newsletter people keep a Facebook page. Fine. Friend in the medieval group sends a friend request. Well... okay, fine. SHE SUGGESTS FRIENDS and suddenly I have a dozen people sending me friend requests. Which I guess is nice? But I don't even know where my Facebook page is, I don't check it, I don't want to check it. Most people won't even notice if you don't accept a friend request (unless they really really wanted you as a friend), and I don't *think* people are told if you actually hit decline. So honestly, don't stress. If you don't use Facebook anyway it's not like they'll be missing anything :)
