And in case anyone is curious, she could have (and should have) asked for all hyphenation to be turned off prior to formatting. At this point I can turn it all off, but she has to pay hourly for that because I will then have to readjust the entire book to repair all the changes to the layout/spacing that it will cause (you'd be surprised by how many spacing issues/problems can result from changes like this).

I will add one final thing: the bloody book IS justified (it's left-justified alignment specifically, just like you see in every other English-language novel on the planet), so her request is doubly dumb.

What kind of justification change am I supposed to make that WOULDN'T look stupid at this point? Plain left alignment where the right-hand side remains ragged? Plain right alignment where everything is pushed to the right-hand margin and the left-hand side is now ragged? *headdesk x infinity over this author's stupidity* P.S. A justification change would NEVER resolve her issues with hyphenation. :P

I played KOTOR a while ago with the dark side ending and it made me feel bad. Not because I became a Sith Lord (I was RPing my Revan to slowly slip into the dark side and seeing Bastila as Malak's apprentice would be the final straw), but because I had to kill Mission and Zaalbar! D: Couldn't care less about Carth leaving (already figured that would happen), but having to kill Mission and Zaalbar caught me off guard. D:
