There were so many greats...The Stranglers, Ian Dury, Gary Numan, Devo, Blondie, Martha and the Muffins, plus it was alongside that era of punk which wasn't exactly new wave but was the late 70's punk style such as the vapours, undertones, buzzcocks. wouldn't mind starting up a new wave band :P

@jack: OH HELL, THAT IS THE BOOK THAT I KEPT HAVING TO WORK ON FOREVER - THE EXACT ONE YOU DESCRIBED!!!! That stupid f---ing "Take My Breath Away: Orlando Nights" novel. Not only did I get stuck with it for a while, I had to format the revised edition - and then there were the subsequent post-pub edits that led to the current state of affairs. Oh, and all the other De'Lure novels/books that you saw listed (including the execrable "Take My Breath Away Too")...

And yeah, that was Orlando Nights. I'm sorry you had to read that more than once. I couldn't make it through the blurb.

@jack: You are reading that blurb correctly - the doofus author wrote it, along with all of the fake reviews in his book. You can tell because of the poor grammar, his general inability to write coherent sentence, AND his squirrelly punctuation. He's either doing a lot of drugs or is totally nuts.

Not much to tell, honestly- it was Biomod08, which probably means someone just hit the report button in the 'OMG' thread about Feynriel. Probably TraiHarder- kid was doing the typical adolescent ranting of ALL CAPS and 'shut up, you're stupid' and what not- over a disagreement whether spirits and demons are alike and the same sort of beings. The histronics were cute- I liked the touch where he sent me a friend invite with the paternalistic touch of 'I'm sure you...

'I'm sure you want to talk real Dragon Age when you know stuff one day'- but were undercut by the ALL CAPS and insults. Honestly can't remember sending any personal attacks back- just laughed about the juvenile nature of the insults- and I also laughed that he had three times as many mod-edited posts. But really- it was downright tepid compared to past arguments.

Huh, actually sounds pretty similar to my first warning, a couple months back. It was the same sort of deal: I didn't really care that I got a warning, I was more just surprised that the thread they called me out on was pretty mild compared to some other arguments which have gone on here. Always terrifying when people resort to that sort of thing. -_-

Well, he has gotten crankier, but when you're being a judge on certain shows, I guess you can't exactly be light and fluffy and give everyone a pass (like, say, Paula Abdul might). I do miss the puppets.
