I have a "walk away from the keyboard for twenty minutes" standard rule. If I'm getting really frustrated or something/someone has stoked my ire fires, I'll try to step away for a while to allow me to make sure I'm at ease, mull things over, and have a better grasp on what -- if any -- kind of response I will make.
