The way you wrote that gives me the impression that you see giving her reasons for her actions(whether a viewer agrees with them or feels they justify, etc, or not) as being a bad thing?

No, it can be a good thing! I actually erased a sentence from the previous post. But, from what I've somewhat seen in previews, if her motivation boils down to "this king I loved that spurned me made me do EVIL," then it'd really fall flat for me. Overused spurned by men/men as motivating factor angle. Rather than her just doing it because she wants to.

Huh, I thought it looked like they had been at war and when her people were defeated they chopped off her wings and left her for dead.
