I'm knocking on wood frequently. I'm just.. Oh my goodness. This needs to calm down. I'm so lucky a friend had sent me his old mobo when he replaced it. (Thank you, Kjata!) And I'm fervently hoping it is indeed the issue. From what I've read 95% of the time an FF is the mobo, but I'm basically screwed if it's something else.

Yes, it's a Post code that can be given on the little digital display on your mobo. You can Google it. I'm it there are far better explanations on line than I could attempt to give you
