Hmm, I haven't been in the character threads much, though I have noticed the longer threads tend to start behaving like a social club after a certain point.

Yeah, that has always been the way, I suppose. I just hate it.

It's more or less why I spend most of my time in the general Romance thread (and the other forums) instead. Certain aspects of characters threads (some in particular) just have a tendency to turn me off entirely, even aside from the clubby-vibe.
