So, figures I'd make it into the Keep beta only a few weeks before its main release. xD Still, it's nice to be in early at all, and provide some helpful feedback for it. Despite a small bug or two I encountered, it's overall looking awesome!

Developing game mechanics is more fun than I anticipated. Still need to go over balance and testing, but the base process is very engaging for me.

I've played PnP RPGs, but via PBP. While not the original Pen and Paper experience, Play By Post is pretty close to it, although you have to make certain adaptions to play it on the internet. I've played D&D 4e, to be exact, but also considered joining a PF game before I gave up on it. Made some Xocolatl for the first time. Not bad, but I think I'll add less cinnamon and use water instead of milk next time. Bit rich for my preference right now, but want to make it again with tweaks.

Haha, depends on the recipe, really. :) It's just using milk here makes the drink a bit thicker and richer than my preference for what's primarily hot chocolate. And I love spices, but it was a bit strong on the cinnamon this time for the amount I made.

Not to mention water is closer to the authentic Aztec recipe, but I tried milk this time around since that's what the recipe had. Generally I follow recipes closely first time around and tweak to preference later, unless it includes something I absolute hate that's optional, like almonds. Been trying to eat better and lose weight lately (down 30 pounds from when I started, whoo!) and forcing myself to cook a bit more often helps with it, much as I hate to. My fiance's not alwa...

He is, so far. Napping a lot (unsurprising... he has like, 3 meds I have to give him and they all have drowsiness as a side effect) but he's eating and he can walk - some. He's still limping, but not nearly as badly and he's opted to walk whenever he moves, instead of dragging himself around like he did before. He's also not wailing in pain, still likes to chill next to me, and is very affectionate, so I'm optimistic. :)
