Mine shipped on the 6th so that I'd get it on release day. Which did happen. So I have to give credit to Best Buy for managing that. I wouldn't have guessed they could. And yes its pretty awesome. You'll love it when you get it.

Niiiiice - my dad is currently back to playing FO4 and said he likes the updated graphics. I keep wanting to watch him play, but then I think: OMG, SPOILERS!!! On the other hand, I would like to take a break from work and go see how it looks on his giant monitor...yeeeeah, I think I will go take a peek right now. Since he has his speakers blasting, I've already kind of overheard him talking to Codsworth anyway, lol!

And if you want a laugh - my dad did, in fact, die to a mole rat earlier shortly after finding Dogmeat. I reminded him that he needs to save often - and then I think he went and died to the same mole rat again (he may or may not have listened to me about saving, but I guess I'll find out llater if I see him fighting the same mole rat :P ).

I was like, HEY, IS THAT A PIRATE SHIP?! while watching the FO4 trailer - didn't recognize the landmarks, so I didn't realize it was Boston and that that was the USS Constitution until I just read the Kotaku article. Nice retrofit on the ship, haha!

Ah, computer woes. *pat pat* I relate after the death of my old laptop. Anyhow, I'm waiting to get my autographed copy (woohoo!) of PoE - can't remember if I was supposed to get an extra code, but if I do get an extra one, I'll give a copy to my dad (he likes RPGs too). At least I can keep occupied with Bloodborne/DA:I until PoE gets here, although Bloodborne has been pretty punishing (much dying, much facepalming - lol).

I refuse to get sucked into Bloodborne. Like Dark Souls II it tries to lure me in with the character creation, but once I start dying too much I'll just get frustrated and drop it. Their games end up being a sad waste of money for me. :P

Belated response: just persevere! I did, and I finally beat the first boss! Then (after another lengthy period of frustration and ten billion deaths *cough*) I eventually beat the second boss. I suck at this stuff, so if I can do it, I'm sure you can! Although I will say that I did sort of want to throw my controller at my monitor after six hours straight of dying (and that was just dying to regular mobs, hehe).

Well when I spotted you had an update on the show I purposely skipped past it because I had a feeling something spoiler-worthy happened. When TV Guide tried to more completely spoil it for me I tossed the issue aside quickly and made it a point to catch up right away. Definately one for the 'Shippers. :D

it was spoiler-free, mostly it went: "AAAAAAAAAAAAH, I WAS TOTALLY RIGHT ABOUT THAT THING THAT I THOUGHT I WAS RIGHT ABOUT!!!!" Anyway, yeah, Shaw + Root - I can get behind that! I feel sorry for Reese post-Joss, although I guess Root may not be in the same boat. Why Joss, WHYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?! Yeah, I still miss her. :P Did catch Empire, and I actually liked it - although I keep expecting Taraji P. Henson to pull out a badge at some point, hehe.

This game really needs the Magic Mirror from DA2 in a bad way.

But I love that the game let me play an utterly charming Qun with a fancy moustache and the dialogue options and backstory he gets actually make that work. Sten would hate me. :D

I've been playing Destiny, and now, AC: Unity as well. Next week, I'll be screwed when DAI and Far Cry 4 get added to my rotation. Guess it's feast time. :D

Valkyria Chronicles seems to be winning the war at the moment. Which is sad since its a 6 year old game I've completed before. It completely boggles my mind that it topped the Steam charts on the 11th over all the AAA titles that released at the same time. I think Sega was more shocked than anyone by this. Maybe they'll finally release VC3 here based on that.

Mixing in a little AC:Rogue with that, because of more Privateer Goodness. I doubt I'll get near Unity til some...

The title is the concept: Satan comes to earth and gets a part time job at 'McRonalds.' Not sure which surprised me more... That he was a really good employee, or that Japanese McDonalds are almost exactly like US ones. Right down to competing with KFC. :D
