I enjoyed it. They went a different route with it which I think was a good thing.

I'm not a fan of the series having never seen the original but the movie we decent enough. Too much focus on the origin I think especially considering it may not do well enough to earn a sequel.

Well it was MEH to me. I couldn't connect with the characters. I guess I couldn't get past the original being so gritty and this one being so tame all around.
