So I've played it for a while, and while I enjoy it on a certain level, I would have to agree with some of the critical reviews that I've read. I do think the controls are kind of clunky and it feels off (I'm using a mouse and keyboard - tried messing with the mouse sensitivity in the game and am not quite satisfied). There is a fair amount of gore rather than building a major feeling of dread (other than my inherent fear of chainsaw-wielding maniacs who are nigh indestructible). It's still fun for me, and I do like certain elements like being able to use environmental traps against my enemies (successfully killed some zombies by tricking them into running into some tripwires, etc.).
