    Had a feeling it was related to my Crossfire setup - switched to a single card and it stopped crashing.

    Well, I did get it fixed - and oddly enough, the game ran better on one card with no drop in quality as far as I could tell (it was still on the same settings I had in Crossfire mode anyway).
