No, that's fine! I totally agree with you - sometimes authors just go nuts with the fonts for no particularly good reason other than that they think the font looks cool. It's like that poet who used French Script MT for all her poems the other day...I don't think some of them actually take practical matters into consideration (such as keeping their readers' eyeballs comfy).

Yeah, see I probably wouldn't by that book of poetry no matter how good the poems were. Or at least I'd be disinclined to. It's a good font for titles maybe, small doses. But for extended reading? Plain, easy-to-read and not headache-inducing please.

Yeah, that's what I try to point out when I see an author doing something completely insane with the fonts or font styles. I always try to think about it from the reader's perspective.
