I should just be glad that the editor managed to whip this up into mostly decent shape (no thanks to the author who still doesn't know where to put her damned chapter numbers OR how to title things appropriately, etc.).

Oh God, I actually read the epilogue. Apparently, this pregnant character is locked in a cellar by another female character who is deranged/jealous (I guess). This whole book is stupid - just because a paid editor corrected most of your worst errors doesn't make your plot and characters less stupid than they are, lady. :P

And today I hear back from the AR (author rep) who said even she couldn't figure out what the heck was going on with the subheadings, etc. :P
