  I saw the film, I don't think it was great. I take it the books are better? They usually are.

  I dunno, I liked the movie alright. Wasn't big on the main characters, but I liked the technology and the feel. It had potential.

  Saw the film. What I think the film did right was getting rid of the whole Demosthenes/Locke bit. Otherwise, yes, the book is better, but the film is still very faithful to the source material.
