I don't quite get the appeal of Titanfall. Seems like something that gets incredibly repetitive really fast.

  I suppose it all comes down to preference. You can accuse basically any game of being repetitive at times, in varying degrees.

  I've watched livestreams of the game and all the matches went down the same route.

  Beta was only two maps, three gamemodes and barely any content. Of course it's going to seem repetitive from that.
