Went back to DA2 to revisit a part of the story. Happy to see attributes/expanded skill trees. Not so happy with the combat (argh!) and companion clothes again. lol Being able to click companions or NPCs for a comment is a nice thing though! Not sure I can finish this, but am going to try! Want to see the story again, with new info from DAI!

I have been critical of the reused assets for animation in DAI, which, frankly I feel is justified. :P BUT: Cinematic person and or team: KILLED IT with the Solas Romance scenes. NAILED IT. If you make it feel real, mission accomplished. MANY Kudos.

Well, siding with the mages FEELS more epic this playthrough than templars. Still In Your Heart Shall Burn still trumps the ending easily. Had the ending even MATCHED the feeling for this quest.... Still, end = minor failing for good game. Still, have to be honest. It felt less epic. Easily.

I am siding with the Templars (playing a female Qunari Warrior--still first playthrough) and I am enjoing the story thus far. I am enjoying the companion with Leliana being so different Imaybe it is because of this playthrough? Playing the game in French. Could be the translation? She is unlike herself from DA:O). After yesterdays Dalish tarot card character creation, today I am feeling up to trying to recreate the concept models, minus the fancy schmancy hair we are not allowed. They say it cannot be done but we shall see...we shall see....

whoa was that ever an exercise in futility. You can't customise the features enough to actually make it work darnit. I didn't know that was possible. Ghehe. Agree with you on that, though. I can find lost of things that needs improving, but the general impression is still positive. Too bad critique often ends with insults towards BW. I think they managed to put in a lot of improvements over the first two DA games. They deserve some credit for that.

Indeed! Credit where it's due! I too have a huge list of things I would improve/change, but the way to be heard is usually to speak, rather than yell. :) I was so sad when I ran out of likes on here. I felt rationed. It hurt me. LOL

Good luck. I wonder how much the experience will change with different choices. DA2 did a bad job with that. Let's hope DA:I will do better. :)
