Damn I miss the Alistair fandom. What happened to everyone having fun, and just talking? Why does the fandom suck now?

I made the mistake of sticking up for a over excited Cullen fan in the Cullen thread once a few months back, she was just major excited over news of him and some anally retentive fan told her off for wanting more info. Anyone with half a brain could just see she was happy excited :/ Yeah the fandom got dropped on it's head a few times.
