Suppose its weird to say but I love Windows 8. Hell, the only OS I didn't like was Vista.

Then again, I definitely have different interests and usages for it than you do.

PC gaming then is really the only thing on there where I could see you having an issue. Which, to be fair, wasn't really meant to be the focus of the OS (though I understand and appreciate your plight). It's one of those systems where people who do things like design, art, animation, computer tech stuff for companies, etc. really like it, while those that run on the more purely technical aspects of the computer are seriously frustrated with the design.
