My first playthrough of Witcher 1 took me something like 80 hours. With save editing it drops down to around 35 once you know the quests.

I'm not really a fan of their combat systems. It seems weird and unwieldy to me. February is still some time away.

In my opinion the original's game play is pretty terrible but it has good story. The second game vastly improves the combat system. The only thing I don't like about it is the leveling system since you pretty much start over ability wise and the supposedly amazing weapons and armor you acquire become outclassed pretty quickly. The combat rebalance mod fixes that but its got its own set of problems.
