Hm... I like it if taken as understanding being knowledgeable in an area to the fullest extent possible. There is a joy in that. I feel less confident about it when applied to people. Relating to and empathizing with others can bring with it great joy, but also terrible agony. Although that bitter pill can be in and of itself a joy, I suppose. Eh... I'm terrible at interpreting this sort of thing. :p
