Good question. It looks like it might be tied to your last login/time settings? Maybe? Do you have your profile set to auto-detect your time zone? I honestly have no idea, but my thought is that if it doesn't know what time it is for you, it just shows you as offline.

Or I'm smoking crack. Either is possible, although one really isn't likely.

I did set my timezone, 5 mins ago. Still lists me as offline, but the clock is right, at least.
