I'm betting another thing you DON'T do is stand in the doorway and hold it open a fraction of an inch, so that the woman going through has to smoosh up against you in order to squeeze by.

LOL. This guy in particular is one I had a run-in with a few weeks ago. I was headed toward a pair of double doors when this guy was coming the opposite direction, saw me, stopped, backed up, and made a fairly elaborate show of opening the door and holding it for me...just like he did today: standing in the doorway in such a way and holding it open so narrowly that the only way anyone's going to go through it is by crawling up and over him.
