I don't see why you should. I mean, he IS considered a legendary actor, but the only reason he ever stuck in my head was because I was a HUGE fan of The Black Stallion movie from 1977--if not for that he probably would never have been a blip on my radar. Far as I know he was active in movies and t.v. up till the very end, but most people seem to know him mostly from his work in the 40s and 50s, I think.
