My A/C was out from Tuesday until yesterday, so I feel your pain. Unfortunately I am the landlord so there was nobody to blame but me.

It's going to be free, so I can't complain TOO much. But the thing worked fine until the technician came out. If it just broke, I'd understand it... but it broke in tandem with the guy coming to make sure it was in good shape. If it was its last legs and hwo check up caused it to push over the edge... shouldn't he have caught that?
