Man there was this art site back in the day called "Elfwood" for fantasy art and you had to submit your art in a giant queue and have real people analyze it and decide to accept and upload it or not. If the littlest thing was wrong it could get rejected and it could take weeks to upload your picture D:

What bothers me more is when people rally around such people, or people are unwilling (or too weak) to express an opinion. Apathy and indifference is the worst brutality. Whole cultures die from that. The first step to combatting it is owning it. 2¢ FWIW.

Late to this party, but I can say that at least in the Lady Inquisitor thread, part of the reason we're getting jerks out of the woodwork is because we dared to send cupcakes to BioWare. CUPCAKES. THE HORROR. And in doing so, we drew attention to our corner of the Internet... not that they didn't stop by from time to time to be pains in the butt anyhow.
