So, the refurbished XBox just died. I got my profile downloaded, stuck ME3 in, was trying to download update for it, and boom. It shut off. And now won't turn on longer than 5 seconds or eject disc.

Yeah, it's not going to come back from that. You'll have to take it in under the warranty. DON'T MOVE THE XBOX PERIOD. Leave it where it is until AFTER you've spoken to the warranty people and explained that you cannot remove the disc. MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THAT BEFORE YOU MOVE THE XBOX OR YOU VOID THE WARRANTY.

Wow, that is awful! And here I thought I had it bad when mine freezes about 8 times a day (possibly more). If I were going to get a next gen console it definitely wouldn't be an Xbox One after the terrible experience I have had with 360's. Doesn't help that I feel they rushed the Xbox One as well which worries me about long term lifespan.
