No idea why, but the "fix" I've always seen for Inq. crap framerate never works for me. I wonder if Bioware's ever going to remove that like they said they would.

Hate to be that guy, but that's easier said than done. Fixing bugs, especially paging related bugs, is obscenely unpredictable. You might think you've solved the problem, but it'll turn out you've actually made it worse and you're back to square one. Or what you did turns out not to have any effect at all on the problem you're trying to solve.

I'm at least glad I didn't believe Bioware when they said the combat and AI would be good difficult and intelligent respectively. It's goddamn awful. And the companion AI is really bad.

well, it's pretty damn awful to me. And it's not like I'm not trying to make it work either. I am. Only character whose AI actually works is my character's. Hasn't fallen once when I'm not controlling him. Everyone else likes to take a nap.

That said, this isn't in normal combat (which isn't difficult at all), but rather in the dragon fights that they become dumb as all hell. In regular combat they take people down far too easily.

thoroughly disappointed that Bioware's "OH LOOK YOU CAN DESTROY TEMPLAR SHIPS WITH FIRE" was either a load of bs or removed entirely. either way, thoroughly disappointed.

It seems to me, they changed the narrative in Crestwood entirely. At least, I'm reasonably sure they were talking about the "village of Crestwood" that time.
It's not the only thing I find lacking compared to the demos. Not by a long shot.
Honestly though, with a game this good, my tolerance for marketing misinformation is practically infinite.
