I hate Steam. Got the first Witcher Enhanced and it crashed as soon as I got control of my character. CPU crashed during install, so I lost 1/10th of my files.

Yea, Steam is probably not the real culprit here. If it were, it would be in a "straw that broke the camel's back" kinda way.
Also, you got yourself The Witcher? My condolences.

I heard a lot of good things about the series and it was only $10. The last time I paid $10 was for the DA:O Ultimate Edition, so I figure it's worth a shot. If I like it, I'll get the sequel. So far, not too bad.
