I don't want to post in your thread until I've made the suggestion of Reserving multiple posts for multiple chapters. It's against the rules, but they might not make an issue, given the reason that you've had to adjust.

  I mean, to go and type entries "Chapter 5" "Chapter 6" as far as you think you need, and then edit them after the fact with the images. That way, at least it could all be kept on the front page.
