I thought there was a tool you can use where you didn't have to glue them on. At least it's not 3,000 sequins! ;)

There is a hot-fix tool, but some fabric won't take the heat. And in my opinion, gluing is easier. With the hot tool, you have to wait until the pre-applied hot-set glue gets shiny before applying, so you have to look at each one upside down before applying it. Sometimes they fall out of the tip and end up in a place not intended. the larger the stone, the longer the wait for them to heat up.
