Mine is also the slim model. I got it second hand a few months ago. I had been playing it on and off and then started watching something on the BBC iPlayer, got some interference and then it shut off. I thought maybe it was because I was playing inFAMOUS, all that electricity! It was fine a few hours later. I'm going to get a cooling stand.
