I decided it would be easier to have the side characters divided up. Maybe into on ship, villain and other categories. 

Questions:

Should I have EDI as a on ship side character still, even though she is a squad member in 3?

Should I have DLC villians like Balak, Tela Vasir or General Petrovsky under side character villains?

Far as side characters go, good luck. Pretty much every single character in the mass effect universe has had some kind of following on this forum in the form of groups, fan fics, etc at one point or another...

I'd say DLC villains still count as villains too.

Then if you want to go for a happy and full romance with Blackwall make sure you don't make him one lol boy did I learn THAT at a time when my Lavellen was still reeling from Solas LOL

I recommend Blackwall because you never got through it but I found it really wonderful and satisfying if you complete his romance. I felt it was worth accepting his lies and trying again.

I'd be even less likely to go there, since Beamdog has zero to do with nwn. Nexus at least gives us file hosting. I'd rather not be dependent on an outside entity, which the Nexus is (even if they are one that is friendly to us).

I don't consider an independent site dedicated to modding to be an outsider, and I trust it to be around longer, personally.  But I really don't see why I need to defend a perfectly good option.  I've explained to everyone why I consider it the better option, without even touching on the annoyances of using the other forum.  You can use it or not, and it's fine by me.  For people who are open to it, it's there.

Bioware is an anomaly to me. They create a forum for the express purpose of providing and taking feedback, and then go out of their way NOT to use it, and act like it's some sad surprise that it ends up being shut down. I buy them at discount prices anyway. Here in Australia everything is overcharged. A new game easily goes for 100+ bucks. I bought ME3 for 20 bucks on Ebay where Origin here was charging $109.99 US dollars.

What do your attributes look like?

What specialization have you taken?

What gear are you using?

What is your typical party, and how are they spec'd?

Are you in Origins?  Origins archery is a lot different than in Awakening because you don't have the "Accuracy" talent like Howe has.  In general the simplest way to do an archer for origins is to build it for auto-attack with sustains up.  People will argue over what they like best, but it is probably best to spend all your attribute points on dexterity or cunning, with whatever proportion between the two you want as long as you get Lethality.

Your attack vs enemy target defense determines the hit chance.  There are a lot of ways to increase attack, but as far as your attributes go strength and dexterity do this directly.  Indirectly cunning can, but that is via Song of Courage.  Alternatively, there is various gear that adds dexterity or attack.

Early game when crit chance is low, consider running Rapid Shot.  Later when you have gear with "Rapid Aim" attribute, use Aim instead.  Aim gives +15 attack if you have Master Archer.

Best specialization for archers is Bard (w/ Song of Courage to buff damage, crit chance, and attack), the next best depends on how you want to play the character, where you invest your points, etc.  Duelist is good for +"11" attack (via Dueling active and +2 dex), or Ranger is ok if you like pets / summons.

The wiki has a strategy section for archery that might be helpful to you.

This is my first play through with a rouge archer. I used Howe and leliana before but all i did was put willpower and dex. And when i did the same for my character it keeps missing and i do no damage even with far song. What am i missing

Maybe too many points in willpower. 

If you are having trouble hitting, switching to a cunning build will only make that worse.

Maximize Dex, and go Duelist to maximizing your hit rate.

That's a concern of mine too. We need civilization in Andromeda, great feats of engineering, major space stations, etc... if it's just planets to explore, the game might feel lifeless and without personality, even if the planets themselves are well done.

I would imagine that at some point in the game we would have some kind of interaction with a giant alien city or two. Would be hard to build up a Andromeda alien race as being powerful without major cities.
