why is this guy role playing EDI? hes even worse than the guy who talked in 3rd person on the old forum. Leave EDI alone.

You are aware that I don't do it all the time - only when the situation calls for it?

There are so many things wrong with that post...:wizard:

I prefer Ecael to handheld a million times over. And Ecael hardly roleplay as EDI to be honest...I've seen it only a few times at most, and it's certainty not character assassinating (not a thane joke) unlike the other ways I've seen people roleplay.

2 out of 2 krogan recommend EDI roleplaying for all your BioWare forum needs.

I don't particularly mind. After all, it's quite conceivable that the stereotype from ME1 wasn't entirely accurate, in terms of either exaggerating their overall aggressiveness or underestimating intra-species variation by suggesting that they all act in a uniform manner.

Mind you, you do come across, and generally kill, (mostly in combat) plenty of krogan who do fit the stereotype, so I think that base is covered. Beyond that, I don't think it's necessarily unrealistic for other aspects of the species to be revealed through closer observation and interaction. I actually quite liked the way they depicted the species, all in all.

I think they struck a good balance. I can't think of the character's name - but the Krogan that opposes Wrex/Grunt is very traditionally Krogan as well as some of the mercenaries you run into (Mordin's loyalty mission and Garrus' recruitment).

Even Patriarch comes off very traditional, even if he is played humorously.

Some tend to be, but it gives the species some flavor. Overall I thought they were well done especially on Tuchanka (sp?) where (to me) a lot of them seemed like total jerks that just want to beat **** up.

Update (4/30): Finally stumbled upon a YouTube video with both the Urdnot father and Fortack.

I think this completes the list of all the significant krogan in Mass Effect 2.

Urdnot Father, yearning to see his son (quite a sentimental moment):

I kinda like the Krogan in ME2, reminds me of the Orcs from Warcraft. Wrex (if he survived) is like Thrall leading a new era for their people.

dont even mention wow in a me2 forum all that game does is ruin lives

Warcraft is not the same as World of Warcraft. It's a completely different genre.

The krogans are cute, friendly and violent badasses. But there are many different krogan personalities who all are more or less brutal anyway. I think they did a good job with the krogans in ME2.

I am too romantic to tell that asari on Illium to dump the krogan.

If you watch the end of the Charr video link, they do end up on Tuchanka together, but the asari doesn't like it there. She'll have to spend the next few hundred years on that planet unless they separate.

This is one of those times I think the Renegade option is slightly better than the Paragon.

Charr can always find another person - even a female krogan (wherever those are).

UPDATE: Added some Wrex Elevator dialogue

Maybe they can make a compromise and live on Omega? That have a little of both Illium and  Tuchanka.
Seriously though you are probably right. Realism realy ruins the the romantic things... On the other hand asari are good at persuading people, she could probably make him move back to Illium.

She's got him wrapped around her finger. She better make him move back to Illium.

Tuchanka is no place to raise a child.
