Does that mean we have to expect the same DRM security for each coming game from BioWare as we already saw in Assassins Creed 2?
Is that the DRM, that isn't DRM, but actually really is DRM?

Apparently its a "community event."
But alas i have no idea what an "'epic' community event" is...
Do we get new smiley emoticons?
Only thing i would call an epic community event in gaming is perahps something like Blizzcon, except they'd have to change the name of course...

Electronic Arts has already implemented a similar "must always be connected to the Internet" scheme for Command & Conquer 4, no need to drag Ubisoft into it.Petsura wrote...

Hopefully by the time Bioware releases another major single-player title, this latest DRM fad will have been shown the door, along with its most fervent advocates.
Anyway, the countdown timer now says "an epic community event". Not "announcement of an epic community event". So the epicness will be presumed to commence at the indicated hour on Monday. What if they gave an epic community event and nobody came?
It could be a super-sekret (albeit in a very public fashion) stress test of both Bioware's social network servers and their staffers' flame resistance once fanrage ignites subsequent to the disappointing denouement of the countdown conundrum.

Hey! I wrote that! <_<
Heh, I demand and submit that whoever posts the first "post-clock-strikes-zero-and-all-is-revealed" post needs to title it "Disappointing Denouement of the Countdown Conundrum". No fair pre-posting the topic, it only works once the epic community event happens (or is announced) at the expiry of the countdown clock.carlosjuero continued...

The ME2 ending I saw left the game open for a sequel.ZiggyStardust25 wrote...
Maybe we womn't even see Mass Effect 3 - as well the ending for ME2 pretty much tied it up as does all Bioware games almost. So ME2 could be the ending

That would actually make the game twice as fun.
Bite your fingers!! lmao.. Only way multiplayer would be fun on DAO is if they used a similar system as Diablo II where you connected P2P by IP. That's the ONLY way it would be fun.
