Anyone ever accidently rejected their LI because they didn't read properly and Bioware pulled a 'paragon option bait-and-switch'? By which I mean, it was the slot normally reserved for paragon responses whihc lead to the rejecting?

LOl at that commercial.  That guy seems like he could make you laugh, on purpose. Don't know how he kept a straight face filming that.....On the other hand,  Jacob only makes you laugh  unintentionally as he tries to be all intense.

You misunderstand, I'm not flaming you because you don't like Tali. Honestly, she has no place in ME2 as far as I'm concerned, her place in the story is utterly contrived and feels completely out of place.

Jack and Garrus where the best in the game, maybe I am just not part of the Tali banwagon and don't see Tali as a proper LI. To me she is more of a sister like character. It's my thought, we all have the right to state our thoughts on something and to me none of Talis dialog was realy that deep compared to some of Miris, and you only see that if you pick the middle or lower options. Thats just me, does that make me wrong? Not at all. When it comes to the LI (expect for Jacob) there is no right or wrong. You might not like Miri or find her a true Li but that does not mean other people do.

Now can we just put this argument behind us or are you going to call me an idiot and then stop this argument?

He is, however, just that cocky. I'll bet when he rides a horse, he sits backwards and thinks that doesn't make him look like a moron who can't see where he's going!

The only thing deep on Miri is her physique and she even tells you that in the initial crew convo. She's a simple forward and direct girl with simple needs, ie, whatever she considers necessary is made hers, and she's quite used to it; ergo loyalty quest, whether positive or negative. Doesn't diminish her in any way, but she's not exactly the pondering type.

Your kidding me right. Tali says right to Shepard she wants his skin on hers. Ya thats not lusty. Miri never says anything along that line. Jacob and Tali are the worse. Tali's is just creepy, and speak for your self about butterflies. Why won't people just expect (including Tali fans) that some people perfer other romances and the only real lust romance is Jacob, thats it. Thane has tears for crying out loud, if you pick the right dialog for Miri you would see it's not about love. Having re-did Garrus it's not causal. Jack like Thane breaks down, tho it's more intense with Jack. Tali's romance dialog is creepy and theres many lines like Jacob that sound more like lust.

Tali fans don't want to admit it, Talis romance was very bad. It could have been very good like Garrus but it was not. Jacob and Talis romances where rubbish in my mind.

except that skin touching means something entirely different for her.  With a human skin touching means almost nothing besides sex, with quarians if you touch skin with someone you either really trust them enough to risk your life for them or you are about to die and it doesn't matter whether you get infected.  Linking suits is a gesture of trust and acceptance (something anyone who talked to tali should know) and it trancends what humans can  imagine something so simple could mean. 

Her romance was about trust and love, with some attraction mixed in there.  Jack's is totally paragon and all about saving someone from themselves.  Miranda's (which I did by the way) was about sex with a little bit of attraction thrown in.  Why do you think you screwed her in the F-ing engine room?  None of the other LI do something kinky like that, all the other romances take place in the captains cabin, and two (most likely three) of them don't ever progress all the way to sex at all.  Tali can't have sex with you because she could die with all that exposure no matter how many antibiotics she takes, garrus says to you he isn't attracted to humans just you and as far as I know you don't even kiss, and Jack goes straight from kissing to cuddling, possibly bypassing sex entirely.

To say that Miranda's romance is the only non-lusty romance out of all of them is just ignorant and lazy.  If you haven't seen the other romances watch them on Youtube, don't make blind assumtions about them.

If you did watch them on youtube them I honestly have no idea where you are coming up with your opinion.

I have to agree. I am not saying one can't have a great relationship with Miranda, but her's is most clearly about the physical element. She's the one that starts dry humpin' him and stripping in the most public room of the ship.

I have done all romances and Tali does have sex with Shepard. Did you even do hers? If you did after the game she remarks that she is sick which implies they most likely had sex. Garrus I will give you, but Tali no. They do have sex.

Alright I suppose that's fair, the above post covers it all much better...I'm just not nice enough to go into the details.

Clearly, it takes a lot more than being really horny for Tali to get down with you. In fact I'm pretty sure she's a total virgin, specifically says she has never trusted someone so much before, ever had anyone fight for her like Shepard has etc. etc.

Plus there's that whole thing about how having sex could kill her.
