Wrex was easily my favorite character from ME1, I loved his dialogue and personality (great for fights too!). Grunt in ME2 was a massive letdown, he's just so bland and boring compared to Wrex.
I'll be ecstatic if Wrex is a squadmate for ME3 but I don't think the chances look good...

I was reading a few threads lately that kept saying Wrex returning in ME3 is impossible, and thought to myself, "We need a thread that shows us how popular Wrex still is." And there it is. Kudos.

I love Wrex, he's one of my favourite characters along with Liara, Grunt, Legion, Garrus, Admiral/Councilor Anderson, Samara and Mordin.
Although, I'm not sure if I want him as a squadmate in ME3. He has way too much of a powerul role in ME2 to be changed. Plus, it would be epic just to see him as the Commander of some kind of Krogan army. Wouldn't make much sense if he just dropped his important role just to go on the Normandy again and achieve alot less fighting the good fight against the Reapers.

If Wrex was in your party in Mass Effect 2 on the suicide mission, you not only wouldn't lose a single character (including just crewmen without names) you'd gain a collector army!
