Erm...look at your homepage; the countdown. That's what I think it is there for, or at least I hope so.

The countdown is there for Mass Effect as well..and I doubt they could schedule a patch in such a grandiose fashion as with a COUNTDOWN after their epic failure with RtO.

Uh, no.  BioWare releases patches without much warning.  This isn't a countdown to a patch release, it's a countdown to some new product announcement.

Maybe the future is that we should rather wait over half a year before buying any Bioware product. Too many bugs and slow patching.

1.03 broke far more than it was supposed to fix. Presumably you would like the next patch to fix more than it breaks, correct? This can only be achieved by taking the time to do proper testing. Nobody wants a quick patch because it won't fix anything substantial. If you're asking (demanding) for a quick patch that fixes all of the problems introduced in 1.03, you're asking for something that just isn't realistic. Bioware, like any other company, is working with finite resources (money, manpower, hours in the day, etc.). Please keep this in mind when making such demands.

Actually it isn't quite as finite as you make it out to be. Many people were moved onto other projects whom could easily be recalled temporarily to assist in problem resolution. They have enough people to make the available resources relatively infinite.

It's been.. what? 5 months since Dragon Age was released?
And the vast majority of well-known bugs still haven't been addressed.

As far as I'm concerned, Bioware died when EA took over.

I disagree, a hotfix is warranted. It's been 2 weeks since 1.03 and I haven't been able to play a second of the now $100 + game. It was working more than fine (with the exception of the progressive loading times) and a reversion with those "fixes" removed would be ideal while waiting for an official patch.

Even a rollback would be preferable.
