Is there a specific point in The Brecillian Forest in which Sten will make the comment that can unlock a discussion about the forest? I have been able to unlock the "secret" dialogues in the Circle Tower, Denerim, and the Qun so far and they can give you a TON of approval, thus no need for gifts.
