Up till now, the majority of groups I've fought have been no more than 10 mobs and when it does start getting high, there's more weak mobs than strong. Now, out of no where I've just defended Redcliffe village from literally a horde of zombies that aren't exactly push overs. Up at the windmill, with the knights It was tricky but I got it done. Done at the village square? Ouch, I only died once but I had to radically change my tactics.

If you remember, the militia are fighting in the village square and it was my first instinct to run in and try and save them. It seemed they were destined to die for the greater good however as on my reload, I stayed way back and pulled from afar so instead of fighting 10+ at once as they keep coming... I'm only fighting 10ish.

Am I supposed to be in Redcliffe at a later point though? This is the first place I've come after the world map opened to me, just done the village of Lothering. This wouldn't be -as- tough if these guys weren't immune to one of my keep spells. I'm playing a mage and I've invested heavilly in Entropy. The zombies are immune to sleep however. I've just got Waking Nightmare but in all the chaos it's hard to see how effective is is right now. One my level and I'll have mass paralysis, that should be a godsend.

My party is Allistair the tank who's really had to step up in this area, I'm pleased with the kind of 'aggro' he can keep if he stands up front. Lelliana as an archer... Who's really not impressing me tbh, her damage doesn't seem great and it's taking a while to get the decent archery talents. Plus Morrigan who has a bunch of wasted spells thanks to auto select on companions you don't have yet as you level up. She and I both have the first heal spell at least which I've certainly started to need.

I really feel like my party is lacking some powerfull AoE dps, I'm sure a good fiery inferno spell would be great against these zombies but I'm a long way off from it thanks to my Entropy setup(which has rocked until here). I'm hoping Wynne, whenever/wherever I get her has some nice looking spell lines filled out.
