Okay, I'm trying to reverse-import a face I made for ME2 to properly play it from the very start. Is there any save game editor that can do so?
Mass Effect 1 save editor?

I don't think that the PC version was ever popular enough for anyone to take the time to make such a utility.
Don't forget, it had the worst variety of SecureROM there is (hard copy, anyway), which is just another Star Force, nasty Ring Zero Rootkit, and all!

Glad I got it via Steam then...
I managed to recreate the face anyway (more or less) from taking screenshots of the ME2 face's slider settings.

The best you can do is reverse-engineer the slider numbers for use in ME1 from the ME2 face code. Each digit of the slider is the number of ticks from the left + 1. So if your face code starts like this:
241.AE9....
First slider is 1 from the left. Second slider 3 ticks from the left. Third is all the way over to the left. Etc. (The order should be the same as in the ME2 menues.)
Most sliders are identical between the two games. But if you have a Femshep, note that some of the more colorful makeup options on the right were additions to ME2 and are not available in the first one.
