I won't be preordering. Going to wait for the player reviews to see if it's acceptable bug-wise.

Since finishing the disappointing Awakenings I've been saying that I won't preorder again, but who am I kidding? By the time a new game is announced I'm sure I'll be over it and won't be able to resist BIoWare's lure.

I will! What I've learned from this forum is that game-wise, I am easily pleased. I get more enjoyment and entertainment out of a game than your average person. I am less critical of bugs, plot holes, discrepancies and the like. Whatever they choose to release next, it is a safe bet that I will enjoy it. :)

Nah not me, Origins was a great but I am very disappointed in the buggy, rushed and shallow content shown in Awakenings.

I'm not going to preorder it.

Doesn't mean i'm not going to buy it.

I just don't like preordering things.

After my experience with ME2 DLC on 360.
I plan on spending my money upgrading my PCs performance, might even just get a new one.
Then get Dragon Age on PC and let the wiki, mods and toolset handle my extra content needs.

Not that I usually pre-order games, but I will absolutely not pre-order the next DAO game/expansion. The original was amazing, however the the subsequent DLC left a terrible taste in my mouth, and the review of Awakenings made me decide to not purchase it.

Same. Certaily there where parts of Awakening that I would've liked more had they'd been done differently, maybe even bits of Origins, but it's not my story to tell and I still enjoyed playing.

Me- but now I know I can expect good quality

But too short, and too rushed of a expansion.

If it has the Bioware logo on it it's getting pre-ordered.

Not I. I just hang around to complain about an expansion that couldve been sooo much better while suffering through the loading times on these SSI games <groan>

I preordered DA:O and and I was happy with it. It kept me entertained for awhile. I would not call the game great or awesome. To me it only warrants a "good", Because of that, I will not preorder the next one.

Awakenings I might buy sometime in the future once all the bugs and what not have been worked out of it. But I could just as easily not buy it. I will not feel like I will have missed anything.

Uh? why even bother pre-ordering? It's not like it's a high demand game.

I'll just walk to the store and buy it :P

After seeing how Bioware handled Mass Effect 2 I knew I'd be better off not wasting money on Awakening.

Yeah, ME2 was kind of forgettable.

****, I'd preorder DA:O 2 right now if I could. I was majorly impressed by the main game and the expansion was pretty awesome as well.

Granted, it wasn't the second coming of Christ, but I rather expect that to come around rather sparingly, so thats quite alright with me. It was awesomely close enough for me

I never pre-order anyways. But in any case, I won't be purchasing Awakening until a real patch comes out.

And if no patch ever comes out... well, I guess by the time I buy in from a bargain bin, there will be plenty of fix-it mods.

The only game I might even consider preordering is CIV V. I won't because I'd be too paranoid that I won't receive it on release day. I can wait for any other game.

I did not care for Awakenings. I will not be pre-ordering the next expansion. However, the reason is that I simply do not see the need as I do not anticipate it being a hard to find item. I will certainly buy it. I may not have liked Awakenings, but I still love Origins. That alone is going to keep me along for the ride.

Will purchase but definitely not on release date or pre order...

For me when an expansion comes out I think of it as new lands opening up and in your travels the pc meets new npcs, enemys and starts getting into the new story line. Main thing I don't like with this "expansion" is once your toon finishes awakening, it's the end. Can't go back to the Origin lands etc. Your character is locked into the territory of awakenings.

I won't be preordering it because I can get it faster by slipping in to Wal-mart in the early hours of the morning on day 1 and buying it before everyone else is awake. MWA HAHAHAHA!!

I definitely will not pre-order. There are just way too many bugs and unbalanced skills to make anything past the DA:O levels worth playing. Until all these issue are addressed, it's like playing an unfinished product. I will wait and see how whatever comes out in february of next year is received before purchasing. The story for Awakening is decent, but the villains need for gravity. It's hard for me to care about them. Ahh, so many things need improving. After playing GOW III and Heavy Rain, I see that. But still, DA:O was awesome. The only bad thing was not developing a more sinister group of villains to harass the protagonist and more complicated Elite Boss battles. You know, something where you have to breakthrough multiple layers of the Villains defense before your team can inflict damage. Stuff like that makes for memorable conflicts. The Anvil of the Void did this well. Even the Branka fight and ArchDemon provided some of this (though the latter should have thrown more annoyances your way to make it stand out.

That about sums it up. I never pre-order anything, I'm more of the "I'm not buying blind" kind of consumer. I usually research/check everything, whether it's a potato or a car.

In the meantime, I'll be looking into some other games, "The longest journey" has piqued my interest, and I've been oogling "Vampire: Bloodlines".

I don't care whose label is on a game, if I decide it's not worth my hard earned cash, it stays on the store shelfs.

If you find Bloodlines, buy it. It's the best RPG I've ever played and is not easy to get. You'll want to look for patches straight after installation though.
