I was thinking a lot of time about - but to let him die has made no sense - it would be only a dramatical nonsense.

In terms of stories/tales, everything's dramatical nonsense.
It's why we read it in the first place.

That's right Lilandra, I meant more it would be utterly nonsense story wise for what I have in mind furthermore.
But I hate the Deep Roads and I wanted to add something personal to NaChaya - giving a bit spice.
So in my opinion to let Zevran die is unnecessary - the Deep Roads are soon past

The Deep roads were still hostile - and some corpses we left behind, but we arrived Orzammar in less then two days. I remember we rested only shortly during this travel - maybe it was me. I wanted to finish this chapter, the dwarves on our side to defend Ferelden against the upcoming Blight and finally leave to see again the blue sky, feeling rain on my skin and dream along with sparkling stars over my head.
The Assembly was again in turmoil as we set our foots in this halls. The Steward Bandelor had trouble to silence them down as the Mine Commander saluted behind him and reports our return.
Immediatley Bhelen's cold eyes rested on me
*Well, Warden? What news do you bring?*

A soft triumphant smile crossed my lips
*I bring a crown - forged by Caridin on the Anvil of the Void.*
Suddenly all went silent - you had could hear a needle fall to the ground yet.
Oghren started to speak in his loud grumbling nature, but with some proud and respect I never heard before in his voice.
*Caridin was trapped in the body of a golem. This Warden granted him the mercy he sought, releasing him and destroying the Anvil of the Void.
Before he died, Caridin forged a crown for Orzammar's next king, chosen by the ancestors themselves!*
The one I had seek out as Lord Harrowmont answered - and in my memories the hired mercenary's showed up. Maybe good hearted he was - but still a dwarf with the hunger of power and might.
*I would like to believe Oghren's word, but it's well-known the Grey Warden is Bhelen's hireling!*

*I am no ones hireling dwarf - I need the help of the dwarves during the Blight - we have treaties!* I snapped back.
*Silence!!!* the Steward Bandelor's voice roared through the hall. Then he turned to seek out my gaze.
*This crown IS of Paragon make and bears the House Ortain's ancient seal. Tell us Warden: whom did Caridin choose?*
*He wished me to give it whomever I chose*
Harrowmont again insisted angrily *Why would a Paragon trust someone who knows nothing of us with such a decision? This is preposterous!*
Oghren shook his fist towards the grey bearded Lord with narrowed eyes - my hand searched his shoulder to squeeze it and calm him down.
*We've argued in these cahmbers for too long. The will of the Paragon is that the Grey Warden decide.* The eyes from the Steward Bandelor and hundred other pairs of eyes rested on me now - the silence was full of suspense.
*I grant the crown to Bhelen*
*At last. This farce is ended and I can take my rightful place on my fathers throne.* Bhelen's look was triumphant, proud and a hint of relief I could spot there, too.
The Ceremony started in no time - my mind drifted away to Zevran and the others as the hall started to tremor under the staffs which were hitting to the ground from hundreds of dwarfs. Bhelen trod slow down the steps towards the Steward Bandelor, who was holding the shimmering golden crown in his hands, ready to set it on Bhelen's head.

Then he genuflect before him. The crown was set upon his head and the assembly cheered up.
King Bhelen rose to his feet's and greeted the Assembly - before turning toward Lord Harrowmont.
*Do YOU acknowledge me as a king?*
Harrowmonts lips were pressed tightly together, his jaws clenched
*I ....... cannot defy a Paragon. The throne is yours ......
King Bhelen*
He answered with visible arduousness before kneeling down.
*Then as my first act as a king ... I call for this man's execution!*
Bhelen spoke cold and unforgiven, using his adavantage of power. Anger was flushing over me - Damn dwarfs - another bloodshet? Was this necessary?
*Harrowmont was an honorable rival. Let him retire in peace.*
My clear voice was cut through the murmuring noises in the Assembly Hall.
*You know better than anyone the war facing us, Warden. Orzammar cannot afford to be divided. Anyone undermining my reign is serving only the darkspawn.
I will return to my palace to gather my generals and prepare our forces for the surface.
I will see you there, Warden. You have my gratitude for all you have done for me.*
With this ice cold answer he left the Assembly Hall, whilst guards approached Harrowmont to arrest him.
I had enough from all this intrigues, lyings and politics.
Making a face I shrugged to the others showing them my feelings and that this chapter was over for us.
*Let's follow this "King" to see if he holds his promise*
Alistair wasn't happy - I could see that in his face, but damn - he should learn that in war and love all is allowed and I really had no time to whine over one, for us unknown and insignificant, dwarfen lord.
Bhelen stood in his throne room, obviously awaiting us.
*You have proven yourself and more Warden. Without your aid, I would not have taken this throne so smoothly or so soon.*
Making a harsh gesture with my right hand I stopped him
*Congratulations, Bravo. Now where are my troops?*

Lifting a brow his icey gaze locked into my eyes.
*My generals are already preparing for a mission to the surface. When you have need of us, you shall have every able-bodied dwarf in Orzammar.
Since you did more than I expected, I offer a personal reward aa well.
This was a maul favored by my brother Trian. Take it with you as a reminder of your ties to Orzammar.
Now - I have much to do. If there is nothing else....*

Oh well yes you dastardly dwarf - I have no others in mind as leave you - as fast as I can.
I took the Maul with a clear reluctance and passed it immediatly further to Oghren - to show this bastard what I think of him. My nod was barely one as I answered him.
*I'll take that as a"thank you."
Bhelen gave me a last short look *As it was meant. Now, I must address my other petitioners. Come back and visit sometime.*
I guess we both were aware I never ever would set my footsteps in this rooms and with another implied bow we left him.
As we passed the gates of the palace someone awaits us - how surprising - it was Kardol !
*If I'd heard it second hand I'd have called it a sodding lie.
Warden, we've got a king because of you.
The rest, impressive, but the Legion is grateful most for restored leadership. It frees us to fight the darkspawn properly.*
I couldn't help myself - his respectful speech gave me a smile. This was a dwarf of my taste - righteous and without a hint of intrigue. A fighter through and through.
*Orzammar is lucky to have you Kardol*
*You'll have us too. Indirectly. Our place is here, but when you break the blight, we'll make sure the darkspawn have a fine welcome home.
It's more guarantee than any surfacer has had, ever.*
Oh, this wasn't was I had in mind - it would be perfect if he and his troops helping on the surface.... I never had seen better tactical fighters then Kardol and his army.
*We need you topside. Show the world your skill*
He hesitated a very short moment before he answered with his own deep, calm voice.
*You alone have the skill to back up your words. Each of the Legion owes our homeland a death, but if our lives are better shed on the surface, so be it!
Back to Orzammar when we win, though. I'll not stay topside to lose my stone sense.*
With this words he extended his arm to a man great - and I followed him to do the same. This was our own pact ...
In my back Shale murmured
*The throne restored and legends put to rest. Incredible*

There where some things we still nee to do in Orzammar before getting some rest in the camp.
On the way to the Shaperate Oghren started to tease Alistair - couldn't help but I was highly amused.
*Go out, find a girl. Doesn't matter who, as long as there's no pants involved.*
Alistair made a face *What makes you think I haven't?*
*I can smell purity a mile away, It's a talent.*
*That proves to be useful, I'm sure*
*Not that often, it turns out. Be much better if I could smell cheese* Oghren stated in a mocking manner
*You have my deepest condolences.* Alistair's answer was slighty angry now.
Oghren chuckled *Yep. So do you*
Now joined Shale *It seems a bit annoyed*
Alistair looked over his shoulder briefly
*"It" meaning me? Am I an "it", now , too ? I feel honored.*
For one who professes to be a warrior, I find it remarkably weak-willed and indecisive.*
Alistair rolled his eyes *Er... thank you ?*
*It also likes to hide its many weaknesses behind a veil of jocularity.*
I grinned - cause Shale was for sure a bit on the right side - but I couldn't see that alistair started to be more and more angry.
*For a statue, you know a lot if big words* He snapped at her sharply
But Shale was made out of stone - she was in the mood to ask more probing questions.
*Is there a reason it enjoys following others so much? Especially when it is in a position to lead.*
*Have you ever been responsible for someone else's life? Or a lot of other lifes? Or an entire nation?*
*Of course not*
Alistair was on a point he would like to kill - I could here it in his harsh pointed answer.
*Then ... shut ... up!*
If Shale had could lift a brow she had just right now
*I will remember this moment when the birds come.*
We opened the gates to the Shaperate. Carefully I took out the list.
*Most impressive, Warden. King Bhelen's ascent to his father's throne has been recorded in the Memories.
Is there something more I can help with?*
I gave him a swift glance and a smile, reaching out my hand with the list
*I have some tracings you might be interested in.*
The Shaper looked over, for a second - then he got excited

*What's this? A list of names ... Most of these clans no longer even exist! Is this authentic?*
I opened my mouth but Oghren was faster - in his own, *very charming*, manner he answered *You bet your hairy arse it is! Taken froma tablet in Caridin's fortress, no less!*

The Shaper's eyes grow widely *Then.... is it true? The rumors of Caridin's so-called volunteers? Extraordinary!
I would love to make a copy of this. The Shaperate has never had much information on Caridin and his golems, much less of this magnitude! ... I must inform the Shaperance at once!*
Strange dwarfs - all of them, I thought by myself. Now we had to find Filda and telling her about Ruck - I let out a sigh after mentioning this to the others.
This wouldn't be a pleasure
We found her near the stones-praying- like the last time.
She heard the noise, turning and searching immediately for my eyes.
*You've returned! With all the excitement over the new king, I never expected you to remember my poor son. Did you learn anything about my Ruck?*
Her voice was filled with hope and it really saddened me to tell her the truth.

*Yes, but you... might not ant to hear it.*
*What is it? Is he dead? Please don't torment me.*
*I'm afraid Ruck went crazy after too lon in the Deep Roads.*
*Crazy?* Her voice cracked and her eyes started to filled up with tears.
*Oh ancestors save him. I've heard of this: lost soldiers turning on each other, eating darkspawn flesh. Is that what happened to my boy? Why didn't you bring him home?*
I took her hand and squeezed it softly
*Ruck didn't want you to see him like that*
She took a deep and shaky breath
*Such a good boy, still thinking of me after ll he's been through. I have to go to him. He needs me. Oh, he must be so frightened out there. So lonely.
I thank you for what you've done, even if you couldn't be bothered with more.
Take this... It's my husband's masterwork, the first shield he smithed. I was saving it for Ruck, but I want you to have it - as my thanks.*
I bowed before this still strong, but broken, woman before we left her to her grieve.
Now was finally time to went out of Orzammar to met our companions - and Zevran. A smile crossed my face in the same second I thought on him.
Oghren gave me a slight push in my side ... *can I stay with you Warden?* he grumbled.
Now this took me by surprise - a dwarf, in my party ?? Then I remembered how he had picked me up after the fight with the broodmother, without a word - dragging me to Zevran. *If you are able to behave ...* I answered.
He shrugged and we went out of Orzammar's gates.
He let out a deep sigh, narrowing his eyes *Give me a moment.*
Oh - maybe he was rethinking his decision
*Sure, take your time*

*By the Stone, I feel like I'm about to fall off the world with all that sky up there.*
*Is it that strange to you?* I was curious
*Strange? HA. Strange is your wife turning out to prefer ladies. Not living in a world without a bleeding ceiling.* He swallowed shortly - stroking his beard.
*Well, let's get moving. We're losing... whatchacallit? Daylight.*
Time for a rest - we all really need it

My wild throbbing heart had giving away my feelings after Zevran joined me in my tent. We loved each other in a desperate "there is no tomorrow" way, pushing us over the limits - more then once. Covered in sweat, gasping for air, he wrapped his arms tightly around me.
His lips and teeth teased gently on my earlobe as he whispered still out of breath
* I had nearly forgot how guapisima your body is - mia loca, my dear little mage - I missed you. You are pleased, satisfied yet?
Morrigan told me in one of her "non-grumpy" moments how you fighted at the broodmother, after they loved me too much - so take it as my thanks, if this is enough. I have nothing others to give, no ?*

My smile was gentle and my thoughts a bit sad - yes this was all he had to give - and it was a lot, I thought with a low chuckle. The chuckle forced Zevran to place another kiss on my collarbone, gracing over my skin with his lips.
*mmmmhh... yes I'm pleased, but I guess you made me so sleepy I will awake after the Blight is gone*
He chuckled deeply in his adorable way. I guess to speak with him about love would be stupid - and I wasn't a dork.
We felt asleep fast - and then I had again one of this nightmares - I saw him, or he spotted me? The archdemon ...
Then I heard a strange noise, outside ... Zevran was immediately alert, too. Reaching quietly and swift for our cloth we climbed out of the tent.
Alistair stared at me from the fireplace
*You're awake! Did you... did you feel it, too ? It was like the archdemon saw us! Saw us! What does that mean?*

He looked rather panicked in this moment - then we heard another noise, pretty near...
*I think---wait! Did you hear that?*
Alistair made one of his quick moves and had a weapon at hand, like me and Zevran.
Then the hell broke out around us.

Shrieks appeared out of the ground, making this horrific bone-chilling sreechy noises. Dog appeared out of the dark, barking and growling, he jumped at the first he could get, he overwhelmed him and ripped him to bloody scraps.
The whole camp had turned into a war arena.
The fight lasted not very long, though.
Morrigan glanced at me *What will they send next? Darkspawn tax collectors?*
I had to grin, stroking my messy hair
Oghren let out a loud grunt *Can't get a bloody night's rest.*
And Sten was murmuring anything about fortification around the camp.
Alistair moved on my side *I guess it's like Duncan once said: we can sense them, and they can sense us. We'd best be more careful from now on. This camp isn't safe any longer*
*I guess you are right - we should not stay on one place anymore for longer then a night.* I gave him a nod and patted his shoulder softly.

Wynne passed by and said only one sentence *I'm honored to fight by your side.*
I couldn't sleep anymore so I just sat down at the campfire as Oghren approached me. I motioned him to sit down beside me.
*There you are. Wanted to talk to you.*
*Go ahead *
*Aye - here we go. You and I, we've ... You know how sometimes, you spend time with .... people, and things ... Hm.*
Lifting a brow I grinned *Take your time. What is it?*
*I was thinking. I do know people out here on the surface. A Person, actually. Girl I knew in Orzammar. Before I left, obviously.*
My grin was broad now * A girl you knew, or a girl you KNEW?*
He started to tell me the story of him and Felsi , after some requests from my side - calling me a suspicious sack of pebbles and that I whipped out the knife. He gave me a loopsided grin.
*She was jealous of Branka. And she got be controlling. And Oghren was meant to be free. Know what I mean? Anyway, she couldn't handle everyone wishing they could be with me. So she left. Honest truth.*
I narrowed my eyes *Nug spew*
He let out one of his typical grunts *Well it's my side of the story. I give sod-all what you believe. So. Are we doing this or not? Can we go to Cleanbad?*
*Cleanbad? You mean Lake Calenhad? Yes We can do this Oghren - I need to go anyway to the Circle, there is something I must ask Irving.*
*No I think it was Cleanbad. I remember because I thought: "Yes, that's right. Dirty good, clean bad.* He chuckled *But thanks for offering to take us there. You're a good friend, Warden.*
Oghren, dog and I left the camp one hour later. The others still asleep. Zevran had order to move the camp towards Lake Calenhead near the road - so we would find them easily.
And again I stood at the banks of Lake Calenhead, the tower looking like a big dark phallus symbol in the early sunrise. Since Morrigan this mentioned I couldn't see it another way - I let out a soft laughter which caused Oghren to look at me curiously. I just shook my head and we opened the door to the *Spoiled Princess*
Oghren freezed *There she is! I'm gonna to talk to her. Look you gotta back me up here, got it?*
* What do you mean, "back you up?"*
*Just ... follow my lead, you know?*
* Oghren let me talk to her first. She might be married now.*
He wrinkled his forehead *I ... hadn't thought of that - good.. then.. find out how much she misses old Oghren, or who I have to kill, and then I'll go sweep her off her feet.*
His voice was deep, rough and I couldn' only laugh quietly
*That's me. Mister charm.*

As I approached the dwarf girl I had to admit Oghren had a good taste. She was pretty , at least for a dwarf.
Tossing me a irritated gaze she started to speak
*What can I get for you? And don't say mead. We ran out of that a week ago. And don't say rum, either. Ran out of the day before yesterday. And don't say brandy.*
Wth ... was I looking like a drunkard? Have I said I dislike dwarfs ?

With a polite smile I asked *Why all the liquor shortages?*
Her eyes went sad and worried *Have you seen how desperate people are now? They just want to drink to forget what's happened. Some ran out of coin, and started paying in food, chickens, whatever they had.*
I nodded and was a little bit ashamed - I underrestimated the situation, no, I was just to busy to get allies ... she was surely right.
The Innkeeper yelled *FELSI!! I need tables cleaned, girl!*
She simple yelled back without let her gaze from my face *I've got a customer!*
*Your name's is Felsi?*
*Aye. Who wants to know?* Her greeen eyes were full of mistrust
*You don't happen to know a fellow named Oghren, do you?*
Her facial expression went through different types of anger and scorn.*Ugh! Did you have to bring hi sname up? I just ate!*
aha - here we came to the part Oghren hadn't told me
*What happened between you two?*
She snapped *What happened? Is that a serious question? Have you MET Oghren?*
He got drunk. Drunker then usual, even. Took off his pants and challenged a roast nug to a wrestling match at my fathers funeral. Hre lost, by the way. The roast got him in a arm lock. He sat there and crying dor half an hour before someone pulled it off him.*
By Andraste ... Oghren ... I couldn't barely hold back a loud laughter
*So you're not exactly a fan of his, then?*
*You could say that. You could also say I would rather kiss a deepstalker on his lips than see him again.*
Oh I could understood now that Oghren called her fiery.
*He's a changed dw.. erm man.*
She raised a brow, tossing me a cold gaze like a flashing green lightning.
*Oh? What's he changed into, then? A horned toad?*
The Innkeeper started to yell again at her, so she turned away *I've got to get back to work.*
I moved with a wicked grin back to Oghren, behind the corner.
He tapped restless from one foot to the other, nervously.
*Well, what did she say?*
*She hasn't exactly forgiven you for the ...nug incident.*
He gruntled *That fight was rigged! Anyway, the guards said it wasn't worth pressing charges. So she's no call to hold a grudge!
Did she say anything else?*
Oh yes - some not nice - but well, I really wanted to see watch this fight between both.
*Go get her*
He pushed out his chest in a proud manner *Just be ready to pry her off when she throws herself at me. We don't want to make a scene here. Well, don't pry her off me too soon. I mean, a little scene's all right.*
I nodded amused, following him.
He approached her like a rooster his hen
*Are you sure you're not a baker? Cause you've got a sodding nice set of buns.*
Felsi eyed him cool *Well look what the nug dragged in. I should have known you were in the neighborhood by the stench.* She crossed her arms over her breasts *What are you doing here?*
*Just trying to kick back with a pint. Fighting darkspawn's a lot of sodding work, you know?*
Her green eyes grows big *YOU'RE fighting darkspawn?*
I couldn't resist to interfere
*This man took on an army of golems almost single-handed.*

Swaggeringly he locked his eyes in Felsi's face
*It was a bit of a pain, but... it was a personal favor for the king of Orzammar, you understand.*
Damn dwarfen bastard - I thought, trying to fake a serious face and not burst out with laughter.
She wasn't convinced at all
*The whole surface to choose from, and you just happened to come to my tavern?*
*Er... well...*
I whispered in his ear very low *Tell her it's fate*
*What? Oh, right. It's fate, Felsi. What can I say?*
Lifting her brows she stated dryly *Fate? The ancestors must have a sense of humor, then.*
*Sure they do! You've had a good look at LadyHelmi, haven't you? If her face isn't a joke the ancestors are playing, I'm a bronto's behind.*
*So ... Lady Helmi must be a Paragon of beauty then*
I need to whisper again or this idiotic man of a dwarf would ruin all
*Tell her you've been thinking of her.*
*I've been thinkin about you Felsi.*
Now she grumbled, pointing out every single word *What - do - you - want, Oghren?*
He tossed a broad smile towards her *Nothin. Just thought I'd see how you were doing, is all. Well, maybe that and grease up the bronto, if you know what I mean.*
I moaned inside - I would kill him for such a sentence towards me...
Felsi instead gave him a sly grin *Well, you've seen me. You'll have to go back to Orzammar for the bronto.*
Good - I swore this should be my last interfere *we can't waste time here Oghren, the queen's waiting for us.*
Felsi dropped another sneer *Oh, the queen needed a new fool, did she?*
*Ah well, it's been fun Felsi, but I better go.*
Suddenly she raised a hand like she would hold him back *Wait! You're leaving? You just got here. I haven't called you a shaft-rat yet...*
*Oh, you can't keep the archdemon waiting. You hurt its feelings, it just might turn the whole Blight around and go home. Nobody wants that.*
Felsi's voice had a hint of loving care in it now *Well ... you don't need to fight it right now, do you? I mean, you could have a pint first. You could call me a surly bronto, I could tell you that you smell like nug droppings ...*
Oh by the maker - love rituals amongst dwarfes ...
Oghren smiled satisfied yet *I tell you what. I've got some things I gotta do, but I'll come back for that pint when things're settled. You frigid deepstalker.*
*Fine, but you'd better not keep me waiting, you worthless copper-plated sword-caste.*
He chuckled *Wouldn't dream of it.*
We left the Tavern *Heh I still got it* Oghren said
*So what are you leaving for Oghren? Go - get her!*
He looked at me - quite surprised.
*Don't you know anything about women? You gotta make them wait. Play hard to get...*
I gave him a broad grin *Dwarf ... I'm a woman - but your decision what you do.*
Oghren blinked *Might as well rest up while I can. You ready to go to your mage friends now?*
*Yes, let's go*
*Aye, all right,then*
... and so we went from allies to friends ? Maybe ...

We reached the tower of magi in silence, Oghren was in thoughts - and his grin told me he was thinking about Felsi.
The gates opened and First Enchanter Irving, my "Father", greeted me with a warm smile, taking my hands in his.
*You went above and beyond the call of duty for the Circle. You have done us proud.*
My smile was a caring one and I felt touched from his words. *Is there anything else I can do for you?*
He shook his head slightly *You've already done much for the Circle. Now you must see to your duty as a grey warden.*
*There is something I want to ask you First Enchanter. Dagna, of Orzammar, wishes to study magic.*
He looked at me curiously *Orzammar? Indeed? You have piqued my curiosity.
It is common knowledge that dwarves lack the ... aptitude for spell craft. She will never be able to weave the simplest magic, no matter how hard she tries.*

* I know - but all she wants is to study the theory of magic.*
He lifted a brow, his eyes showing that passion I always so adored at him *Fascinating. I suppose the Circle should be flattered*
*She dreamed about it all her young life. Don't disappoint her*
*I can't deny anyone, dwarf or human, the chance to learn. Knowledge should not be withheld from those who seek it. Tell Dagna, of Orzammar, that this path will not be easy, but if she chooses it, then she is welcome here at the Circle. She will live and study with the Tranquil and perhaps the apprentices, when it is appropriate.*
I gave a low bow in return to his decision *Thank you, First Enchanter*
*Ah if only the Circle was in a better shape. I fear she may be disappointed when she arrives.*
* I think she'll be very interested in what happened*
He smiled *This will be interesting. She could tell us much about or dwarven neighbours. Yes, The more I think about, the more I like the idea. I shall take this as an indication that perhaps things are starting to look up for the Circle. Thank you.*
I couldn't resist to hug him, who knows maybe the last time - and he hold me in his warm embrace.
*Forgive me, but I must take my leave- as sad as it is.*
*I wish you well NaChaya, my child. You know you will always be welcome here.*
On the way out of trhe Tower I run into Gregoir.
His gaze was cool, but there was something in like respect.
*My men have scouted the tower. It is a mess, but the abominations are gone. You are very thourough. I'm impressed*
My smile was teasingly easy *The Circle will be back in no time*
Raising both brows he gave me an odd glance *In no time ?? Hmmm... doubtful, but it doesn't hurt to be optimistic sometimes.*
He gave me a rather deep bow for a man in his position
*I shan't keep you then. Farewell*
*Farewell Knight-Commander* was all i had to say, but it was clear to see, he has changed his thoughts about me. I got a light devilish grin on my lips and a proud feeling overwhelmed me suddenly as Oghren and I left the Tower finally.
Oghren made a snickering noise *If you would stay he would bed you*
My hand was fast on his beard to pull hard on it... * rubbish NUGS.H I T * *
I grinned * Lets go back to Camp Oghren - and then we will seek out Dagna in Orzammar to give her the good news*
It was late in the evening as we reached the camp again - and .. well yes I should talk to Wynne. She had healed Zevran and this was only a bit I could do as a thank.
She was looking tired and in thoughts.
*Oh, it's been a long day. Rest .. rest would be welcome.*
*Yes you should get some rest*
*Yes... yes, of course. I am just a little weary. As you have may noticed, I'm no spring chicken.*
I remembered how she had fought at the Circle and gave her a grin
*There's still some life in those old bones, I bet.*
She smiled softly back *Thank you. You're very kind to say so. But in all honestly, I do not know hoe many years I have left in me. I have lived for such a long time. But there's always something else to do, and I have to keep going in order to do it. I think I will be glad when I am ... done.*

What a thought - she gave me not the impression that she was on the edge to the fade.
*I'm sure you'll be kicking around for years yet.*
*Oh- I don't know, I really don't*
I could barely resist to shrug and told her that I was more then thankfully that she was able to heal Zevran, then I left her - she was far to.. depressive just right now.
My gaze was wandering around on the way to Morrigan - I want have some tea with her and girl talk - we hadn't that a long time.
So I noticed Shale was studying some papers.
As I approached her I heard her stone voice whispering *Shale of the House Cadash - Is that who I once was? I find this difficult to believe.*
*Good evening Shale - say - you are doubting Caridin now?*
*No, I do not doubt him, I simply ... cannot remember. If I was this Shale of House Cadash as Caridin said, there must be some evidence of my existence remaining. I must find it.*
*You think something will trigger your memory? And don't tell me you are about to leave me...*
If she had brows she had raised them - right now.
*I need to KNOW that this is the truth and not simply believe. What Caridin said, it has allowed me to remember one thing. I believe I know where Cadash Thaig is.*

*Oh - are you sure about this Shale?*
*I am. I do not know why I am, but I am. Will you help me to find it?*
I pondered shortly - I hated the Deep Road, but oh well- I could understand Shale more then she could know.
MY life was in a similar way to hers, about memories. I had nothing left - beside some dreams. My Journey should be soon be at the Dalish - and Zevran has promised to search there. Maybe - maybe I could find some answers.
*Yes - yes I will help you Shale. Mark the location on my map. We had to go to Orzammar anyway - there is one thing left I have to do.*
Eagerly she grabbed the map and made a mark
*I am most curious to what we will find.* she murmured, and I left her finally to got some relaxing times with my friend Morrigan.
The gates opened and First Enchanter Irving, my "Father", greeted me with a warm smile, taking my hands in his.

*Yes... yes, of course.
