I loved the Mako. It's just the goddamn terrain that killed it.

I loved the Mako, much better than the limp wristed Hammerhead. ( Although the Hammerhead does look bad ass. )

I keep saying it, but the only thing the Mako needed was a forward boost similar to the one they gave the Hammerhead.  ( Maybe tone down the bounce a little as well, but I can live with that. )

Bring down the Sky was a classic example of how the UCWs should have been handled in ME2, not the over in 10 seconds, linear corridor shoot fests that they gave us as the N7 missions.

Why complain about terrain?

Do you expect unexplored planets to have highways?

No, what I don't lik is how virtually the main challenge in these planets are the terrain. It sucks that climbing over mountains has more emphasis as a challenge when exploring these planets, rather then combat. I'd say: downgrade the terrain, involve the mako in more combat stuff, and, to compensate on the lack "awesome mountains," make the planets vary in scenery. That's my idea.

Also, I think having the Mako gave me the feeling that the galaxy we're exploring is actually REALLY big and expansive, you know? To me, that feeling was shrunk a lot in ME2, since now all I have to do to finish one star system is scan scan scan.
