I keep getting raped when the darkspawn come out. And whenever my party dies I try and slash at the brood mother. She picks me up and then I can't do anything and she beats me to death. I keep running low on stamina and I dont have any lyrium for Morrigan.

On normal difficulty I just used my tank (Alistair) to fend off the darkspawn while my other party members attacked the brood mother, I occasionally had to heal him, it was a pretty easy fight.

There were Darkspawn?

My fight didn't last that long.

Move your ranged characters away from the tentacles that will spawn next to them, the tentacles are stationary and can't hit them if they aren't in melee range.



When the Darkspawn pop out, kill them immediately, there's an amount of time between each Darkspawn spawn, which you can use to damage the Broodmother. Rinse and repeat until dead.



As for the being picked up and beaten to death, on Normal she doesn't actually kill me during that, and she'll throw me away eventually, she only did it once in the whole fight too. I'm on a Massive Armoured character though.



Other than that I don't know what to suggest, you could install the 1.01 patch, I understand that it makes Easy difficulty easier, so that would probably solve your problem.

I did install that patch... Weather it updated the game or not is the question. I did kill her though and everyone died except for Morrigan.
