I was wondering if anyone had started on a mod to make the females less manly in their figures... currently they look like body builders. lol Huge broad shoulders and tiny waists. Is such a mod possible?

If it is, I would like to request something of the sort... I beleive in Oblivion (yes I know its Bethesda), they did this with a combination of armour editing (making the shoulders narrow and hips wider) and some minor skeleton mesh tweaking.

The one and only mod I want for this game is for the freaking dragon armor to be more...form fitting for females, like most of the rest of it is. In its current state, it makes you look REALLY bloated >.>

The girls are far from bodybuilders, not even figure competitors. Need a little shoulder to throw the sword around.  Anorexic hollywood types aren't good for adventure. 

But yea, the dragon armor is silly. The warden's keep armor is much better.

If you like the way it is now thats fine. No one would be forcing you to use the mod if and when its created.

I'm still thrown off by my new character's waist to hip ratio in her starting mage gear. It seems very pronounced with that armor.

I agree on the OP's point. Out of the box, the female Human models look like boys with a pair of breasts sneakily included. The sides are a straight flat line from the arm-pits down to the thighs. It's like they have no hips at all.



I made my character a male in my first play through because I just couldn't stomach the androgynous (minus the chests) female models. And the hair? Just gross.

whats with your crusade against a nude mod? I used one in oblivion cause it made the body look amazing with armor on. And allowed me to use alot more armor mods that required you to have it. Um... I like your optomistic faith in humanity there DSW, but don't you think your non faping people estimite might just be a tad bit high there?  There's alot o collage age kids buyin this game, and not all of em are gonna be wanting a 'nude mod' so that the armor will look amazing... I'm just sayin....

Yes that's the whole knowledge of the average developer of the female species -  a pair of breasts . I think the walking animation is much worse than the model and my poor mage would without doubt walk on all fours without the staff to lean on. They simply don't know better and since they did a great job with the rest of the game we should forgive this lack of knowlegde.

It's not as bad as the NWN2 walking animation. For me, that's a huge step forward.

Irrelevant and she's right, BABE is amazing you CAN install it with underwear. As for 'kids' beg your pardon but the vast majority of kids I know who play Oblivion have it on the 360, so there goes your mod thing. And either way worrying about a young person seeing naked people isn't much of an issue imo. And did you say college aged kids? Do we seriously worry about those 'kids', as far as I know these people are considered 'adults' They can do what the bloody heck they want with their video games??

Yeah, I'm alright with the body I guess. There are some things that can certainly be better, but my biggest complaint with the body is the animations for the females. I mean, playing a male character is certainly much better, in terms of looks and animation.



Makes me curious if the developers behind the game are even actually aware of what women look like sometimes...

I wouldn't mind a figure more Lady of the Forest-esque, or Desire-Demon-esque, though lol.

I dont think they are as bad as say.... Oblivion vanilla models, but the shoulders are waaaay to broad and the hands are far to big... other then that I can live with the rest.

This thread makes me fear what we're going to see from this community as far as humanoid models go. I'm happy to have females that are not four walking fleshy globes with a tiny head, for once.

Talk about unawareness of the human form....

I love how everyone is worried about how things look rather than how things work, the gameplay, the writing, the immersion, the tactics, the ai, etc etc...



I don't care if it was stick figures, it would be fun. There are certainly more important things than the imagery of what the female form, in a fantasy world looks like. But right, you want it to be more historically accurate? Because women in the time period with castles, knights, kings and swordplay were generally either working class peasant stock, with stocky builds, or rotund nobles who 'enjoyed' their food enough to show their wealth. Oh, of course there were the beggars and prostitutes as well but they weren't exactly, appealing by our standards these days.



Anyway, you don't have to even bring this topic up because image is so implanted into the psyche of todays minds that someone is going to make mods to change all of these aspects in time, without any prompting from someone who can't do it themselves.
