Looking for a general opinion on whether or not it is of more value to max a single stat in the CC tool or distribute stat points more along the lines of either class advantages/bonuses.

The reason I ask is that in *other* games historically there existed a difference between what was said to be of value and what really ended up being useful. For example, many years ago when Everquest started up the game information stated that rogues needed dexterity and agility. In actuality, dex/agi did very little if anything for EQ rogues but an early boost in stamina meant more hitpoints.

Anybody out there have an opinion on min/max stat distribution?

Well since skills look like they have min-max values and levels that you can take them at I would say you would want to look over the skills and kind of plan what you want to use and then raise stats accordingly. Other than that I'm assuming it will work a lot like D&D.. where Dex and Cunning would be best for rogues and St and Con.. would be best for fighters. I've given one of my fighters Dex, Con, And Cunning hoping to get some sort of agile fast fighter.. We'll just have to see how it works out I guess.

If you want to know what stats might be useful end-game, you should look at some of the devs' characters, they might give you an idea of what's useful. Here's the topic to know where you can find some of them:  http://social.biowar...c/47/index/6295

My advice is: don't neglect willpower, you need it to use all those cool talents your character will get :)

I think it depends on the class. A mage that is able to stay in the back and cast without getting any aggro on them might just be able to focus on magic and willpower, however a rogue that is focused on strength/dexterity is still going to have to have to diversify. Some constitution to be able to take some hits if the enemy turns around and starts in on them, willpower to be able to use special skills, some cunning to be able to learn combat tactics, etc.

Since I plan on dual-wielding with my warrior, I think an even distribution between Strength and Dexterity, with points into Constitution and Cunning, should do the trick. I hope there is no big need to put points in the other stats.
