How can you call a game a masterpiece when you have not played it?
Truth be told Mass Effect really isnt that good, it is nowhere near as good as the fanboys would make it out to be and it is definitely not a "masterpiece".
Really the only thing Mass Effect has going for it is its story and even that isnt as great as it is made out to be.
I sorry my good man but I am afraid whoever recommended this game to you calling it a "masterpiece" gave you a bum steer.

Ignore me for speaking the truth? So what is it that makes Mass Effect a great game? Is it the poor AI? Is it the boring Mako planet exploration? Is it that every side quest is pretty much the same as the last and shares the exact same interiors? Or is it the terrible third person shooter combat? Seriously tell me what is so great about this game?



As I said the games only redeeming quality is its story which in my honest opinion isnt that great.

You should know by now that most game reviewers are full of ****, you must take into account that these are the same people who consistently rate games like the Halo sequels and spin offs and the GTA series over 9.5.

GTA deserves it for changing the way we play Dudebug... as for Halo... I agree



Stop trolling around because Mass Effect introduced a highly explained universe, sure questions always arrive like any other franchise. So go back to your cave because every game has problems and once you get into playing ME you forget all about the Mako and AI.

GTA 3 and the first Halo maybe, but the sequels bring nothing new to the table and while the games werent terrible I dont think they deserve the high scores they got.

As for Mass Effect however, it brought nothing new to the table and instead it gave us a clunky 3rd person shooter with bad AI and repeditive missions, sure the story was ok (not as great as everyone would have us believe) but it hardly makes up for the gameplay being in shambles. There is no way Mass Effect deserved the high scores it got.

Yeah but that is because 9/10 dentists are idiots, if everyone brushed their teeth then that would mean less cavities to fill and less cavities to fill means less money for the dentist.
