With the recent releace of Metro 2033 and upcomming releace of Fallout: New Vegas isn't it about time we see something like this from the girls and boys at Bioware?

I think they'd make an awesome PNRPG. Just look at what they did with Tuchanka. What do you think?

Black Isle did an excellent job with the old Fallouts. While I agree BioWare has the right stuff, the time of post apocalyptic games would be perhaps a bit inappropriate. I mean, I've seen some PA games, but none surpassed the first two fallouts. So now I am all basing on this criteria : It's either better than Fallout 1 and 2, or I don't like it. I know, it sounds stupid, mostly because almost no game is better than the Fallouts...

I'm not interested in BioWare tackling the genre unless they put an interesting spin on it. And no, I'm not referring to gameplay. We already have the Fallout series and I have my eyes on that indie zombie apocalypse RPG. I have doubts about enjoying it if BioWare stuck to basic design layout they used in KotOR, ME, and DAO as well. Blame Fallout for spoiling me with its downplayed linearity and exploration.

We don't need ANOTHER post apocolyptic game. What we need is a Knights of the Old Republic 3 (not talking about the MMO either) or a Jade Empire 2. Dragon Age and Mass Effect are definately getting sequels so don't need to worry about them but I'd love to see a Jade Empire 2, I love and still own the first game.

I wouldn't mind a post-apocalyptic RPG, but let let Bioware think of some other apocalyptic event besides a nuclear war. After Fallout 3 and Metro 2033. The whole post-nuclear war thing needs a rest.

I think Bioware should do whatever they want to do.

So they should do it because everyone else is doing it? I think they should do whatever they find interesting not what others are doing.

Their are enough of these I would rather see them do something new but if they did do it I am sure it would be good.

why would we want to see more of the same? How 'bout some originality. That's like asking James Patterson(or whatever author you like...no discrimination) to write a Vampire novel already.

No thanks, post apocalyptic games are starting to bore me. With the exception of Fallout, but I've been a long time fan of the series.

I don't think Bioware should do a Post-Apocalyptic game for one reason:

Because they fail at exploration. PA games should have a lot of freedom to explore imo.

Oooh! Are you talking about that one that's also a bit of a survival sim? Like, yeah, there's zombies, but lack of shelter/food will get you killed quicker than anything else. It just sounds so...awesome! Image IPB

I'd prefer a new Dragon age, Mass Effect or KotOR, over that any time.

Scratch the wild west part, give it a good gothic atmosphere. Combine that with awesome customization, and then hell yes!

Hell, lets let Bioware make a sequel to Vampire:The Masquerade Bloodlines!

Depends if it's more like ME1 or ME2.

If yet another post apocalyptic game was done I'd like to see some other sort of reason the earth was destroyed. The nuclear angle has been done to death over the years. Perhaps something dealing with a biological apocalypse could be a bit different. Instead of the whole nuclear war.

Or, the world after a massive lethal virus runs it's course.

No, I don't think that BioWare would be able to do a post-apocalyptic world justice.

I'm not sure that Post Apoc is the best setting for a story focused RPG. It works for free-roamers, but I just can't see it from Bioware. Though this may be because nobody has made one yet for me to compare it to. At least not one that I'm familiar with.

There are some Japanese RPGs that dabble in this subject but that can be considered a different beast as well.

I think give it to Bioware and the story will likely be good regardless of setting. So post apocoplyptic...sure why not.
