 Who would you have given it to?  I would have given it to the geth, they are the only people I trust to use it in a way that doesn't involve the enslavement of other species (because of the Self-determination fascination) and they are also the best equipped to analyze the information and technology housed there.  They could do in less than a year the work that an organic race could do in several years.  They are faster and more efficient. 

Now anyone who doesn't trust the geth obviously won't agree with me, but oh well.

I trust the Geth to make the most rational decisions possible, so yes, they would be a valid choice for control over the base.

The geth wouldn't want it. They want to build their own future (devellop tech by themselves - not get it from the reapers or other species).



I think I made a good choice by blowing it to kingdom come.

Nobody, unfortunately, there ins't anyone with the resources capable of using it responsibly.





Everyone is the Same, everyone looks after their own interests, and since there isn't a galactic version of "cerberus" in charge of protecting ALLL life. There really is no time to do anything.



Most likely EDI transfered the codes to TIM after the successful trip so if left alone to figure out to who give it to, TIM would have claimed it.



The Council would have used it more as a barganing chip and red tape would have destroyed it faster than I could have.



Besides those, if I had to give a WILD ASS GUESS.

can't think of any order group who is as ruthlessly honest as those two.

Exactly.  That's why the geth aren't following the Reapers to begin with.

Nobody. I don't trust anyone with that kind of technology. It's to likely to backfire and end up creating more problems. And I'm pretty sure if you gave it to the Geth they would blow it up, or just give it back.

The geth may not want to use the tech themselves but if the only thing we got from the base was a better understanding of the reapers then I can't see the geth refusing it.  Besides, they've deferred to my better judgment once already, can't see them disobeying a direct order on something this important.

The geth are some of my forces, they follow my orders.  If I say that dismantling that base and gaining a better understanding of Reaper tech and Reapers is the right thing to do, then they would follow my orders because my code is superior.

To be honest, the Salarians would probably stab the humans in the back with it eventually, but they'd use it for what it's worth against the Reapers. Sending it to them wouldn't be too bad of an idea.

In any case, there's no option to give it to anyone else because it's 'too dangerous.' Your character can blow it up if he/she thinks that it's cosmically evil, however.
